We aim to enhance the energy independence of critical and social infrastructure facilities by equipping them with energy storage systems

Project Description

Under the coordination of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the project partners – Direct Relief (USA), the Government of Poland, and the National Institute of Telecommunications National Research Institute (Warsaw) – donated Tesla Powerwall 2.0 energy storage systems to Ukraine free of charge

Tesla Powerwall 2.0 is an integrated lithium-ion battery system designed to store energy and provide backup power in the event of grid outages

Project Objectives

To equip critical and social infrastructure facilities – including healthcare institutions, educational institutions, units of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Administrative Service Centers, and social care institutions – with Tesla Powerwall 2.0 energy storage systems integrated with the System Backup Gateway 2.0 power management source

The implementation of the Power for Health project aligns with Ukraine’s strategic framework for energy decentralization and the use of renewable energy sources
