Project Description

This humanitarian initiative is aimed at addressing hunger and food insecurity by providing hot meals to people affected by emergencies

Food Truck: Food Without Borders is a modern mobile kitchen operating in areas affected by crisis, where there is a risk of hunger, danger, and humanitarian instability

The production capacity of the mobile kitchen reaches up to 3,000 complete hot meals per day. The project aligns with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal No. 2 Zero Hunger

The Food Truck menu preserves Ukrainian culinary traditions. Volunteer chefs strive to convey warmth, care, and compassion in every portion served

The Food Truck is a modernized truck equipped with high capacity technological equipment, a multi stage water purification system for cooking, and multifunctional combi steam ovens that ensure even cooking with minimal nutrient loss

MOBILE KITCHEN

The basic hot meal menu includes:

  • korean style carrots
  • pork or beef goulash
  • freshly baked bread or buns
  • stewed beans with meat or fish cutlets
  • meatballs in tomato sauce or baked chicken
  • fresh cabbage salad or tomato and cucumber salad
  • side dishes such as buckwheat, rice, oatmeal, or pasta
  • pickled vegetables including tomatoes, cucumbers, and cabbage

The Food Truck is equipped with:

  • high capacity industrial freezers
  • a multi stage water purification system
  • large electric pans for frying, stewing, and baking
  • dough mixers for bakery and confectionery production
  • cooking kettles for soups, grains, sauces, and beverages
  • professional deck ovens for baking fresh and crispy bread
  • proofing cabinets for dough fermentation and quality control
  • gas stoves with temperature control, safety systems, and heat resistant surfaces
  • multifunctional combi steam ovens for efficient thermal processing with minimal nutrient loss
